I cast on 88 stitches and knit 1, purl 1 for 4 inches and then switched to stockinette. I knit until I was almost out of yarn and then varied my decreases.
I put it on her and she smiled and smiled. Elle looked so cute in it. I didn't get a picture though. I will have to put the hat on her again and remember to take a picture.
